Very nice execution of texture. The chalky surface of the sand projects movement and, for me, I find that the imperfect brushing in the steel offer more than just a believable weapon, but a history that traces back to the blacksmith's shop.

I'm especially pleased with the light sources you've chosen. One feels both the sun and sky here, as one should in arid land.
